ade architecture were appointed to redesign the ground floor of this end of terrace Victorian house in Clapham Old Town. The plot offered a great opportunity to create substantial rear and side extensions.
The blurring of inside and outside spaces and copious amounts of natural light were key to the success of this project and were achieved by using floor to ceiling glazing and a large rooflight.
The generous open plan space features a bespoke kitchen with concrete work tops and copper inlays (the homeowner is a professional chef), a multipurpose office and an oriel window which faces out onto a beautifully landscaped garden.
